Hey, so I just booked a new music video for LADYHAWKE. She’s on my favorite record label, Modular records, and the song “From Dusk Till Dawn” is amazing. Hopefully I can do it justice in the video, which is narrative-based and one of the odder ideas I’ve done. We’re shooting June 11th LA, and need extras and interns, so email me!! No naked ladies this time sorry.

Check out her first single, “Back of the Van” - Kinga Burza directed the video which I’ve probably watched a dozen times.

hey so really lame news. The Wintergreen “How to Make Meth” video got taken down by youtube. It had been there for 10 months and got 333,000 hits. I checked the comments every day cause they were funny of mix of “This is dangerous, You guys are idiots” and “This is fake, you guys are idiots.” I recently began to respond to some angry people by asking them to look up Dextropolamine on Wikipedia. Anyway - I don’t know how it stayed up so long only to suddenly get taken off. New staff at youtube? Anyone got any ideas to petition youtube to get it unremoved? (ideally at the same url with the same hit count). Until then, here’s the higher-res wide screen version. This video reinvigorated my music video career when it played at the BUG festival, and then directly lead to my Supergrass video, which kind of relaunched everything.

Hey, David Byrne has a funny Toe Jam icon on his homepage. He also has a great write up on the lyrics and process behind the song. He writes: “What’s it about? Well, in a way the video that Norm had done captures it pretty perfectly.” (awesome!)

Elsewhere, Dizzee Rascal commented: “The video is incredible,” Dizzee told PS. “It’s full of naked people. You know those black bars they put across people’s bits to stop seeing you naughtiness on TV before 9pm? Those bars dance in this video.” … and yet, I can only imagine him saying these words like it’s Fix Up Look Sharp.
