The General Assembly will be hosting Social Explorations Of The Art Of Music Videos at Space 15 Twenty on Wedenesday, November 11th from 7P to 9P. Gabe Askew (Grizzly Bear), Eric Fensler (Cass McCombs, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Daniel Johnston, Panda Bear) and Nabil (Kanye West, Common, K’naan) are the featured directors. Be sure to come early and join the newly founded TGA Fan Club. We will be waiting.

hey, the BPA video is on Antville’s list of top 101 videos of the decade! It’s in at #53; though it’s in a 13 way tie, with a 26% score. That means, it would have been at #41 if someone realized that “The BPA” should be alphabetized under “B”, instead of “T”.

Antichrist, starring Charlotte Gainsbourg, opens today. I really want to see it; though I still need to see Where the Wild Things Are. Oh, in Australia we saw Whip It! I had highish expectations for it, and I gotta say, it was pretty awesome. I mean, by no means perfect, but it was funny and sweet and super entertaining. Definitely the greatest movie for female high school art students since Ghost World. Oh, and on the plane I saw Fighting. I say it was 75% awesome and 25% terrible. But - that’s still a worthwhile movie to see. It was waaaaayyyy better than Terminator Salvation. And damn, Channing Tatum is by no means a great actor, but he’s kind of awesome in the movie? It’s worth a rental.
